Reinventing the Codes
In the beginning, there was a blank page and the search for an ideal profile born from tastings between great vintage whites and their rosé equivalents: a striking duality then emerged.
On one hand, the timeless splendor of very great Blanc de Blancs, aged by time: deep, textured, sublime in their pastry notes and their noble reductions of toasted almond and hazelnut. On the other hand, their rosé counterparts which, through the classic addition of red wine from the same vintage, created a real rupture over the long term, often proving heavier, more tannic and lacking elegance.
